The most popular question that we receive is – How do you find the time “to do” social media?

Today Richie and I give you a totally free tool that we both use and love.

And today we have a tool that the both of us use that we think will really help your social media efforts. Hey Denise what’s going on.

Oh a little bit of everything. Richie I’m posting to my social media but took a break to talk with you.

That is awesome.

I was actually making photos before I was taking the quotes and putting them in a photo and stuff.

Yes. Good work. Good work. So Denise this tool that we’re talking about. I love it. I use it almost every time I post. I know you’re using it as well and it’s buffer.

So I think it’s the only way that you can be in two places at one time. So I can be sitting here right now we’re having this Google hangout and if you go check out my Twitter feed or Facebook, I could have a post showing as we’re speaking. So it just gives you the ability it’s basically it gives you the ability to show up when you don’t have time to constantly be posting throughout your day.

And the reason that we’re sharing this tool is because one of the questions we get asked over and over and over is “can somebody do this for me? And people want the path of least resistance. They want things to be easier for them. And so while we could go elaborate on the value of engaging live with people you know we we don’t do that all the time. We pick content and schedule posts and so that’s what buffer allows you to do and there’s free accounts and paid accounts. But, what do you like so much about it.

Well there are these other tools out there that you can use for scheduling. What I like about buffer is first the interface is really a clean interface not a lot going on. It’s very intuitive. So once you set up your Loggins and tell it what your Facebook and Twitter passwords are and stuff like that. It’s really easy you just click on it and away you go, the free account thing holds up to 10 posts for each platform you use.

And it works for up to four four or five different platforms for free. I personally use the free version and so I think posting is really easy.

Also, if there’s something I’m reading, an article that I want to share, I just click buffer, my little pop up box comes up and I can add a photo. Say a little something about the article and whatever I want to do, hit buffer at the queue and it just goes right into it and then that’s it. It’s really really simple. It gives you awesome analytics. You know ,it really if you go to the analytics site it tells you you can see exactly which posts your network or your fans are clicking on or engaging with. It also helps guide you as to what you should be posting or what types of posts your fans like .

So I have used that where you can go through and look at what you have posted previously. So something that I did several months ago that maybe got some good traction. I will post it again. And that’s called re-buffering and that is a huge time saver.

Yeah. And we’ve had this conversation. I wasn’t doing that enough. But you’re right because it saves all your posts for months. So the stuff that you posted six months ago people don’t remember, most people don’t even see your post. As you know, it’s 20 percent of your audience that sees it anyway. So if you post something again two or three months later you’re hitting a total different audience which saves you lots of time as you reuse the information.
